Shoreline Health & Fitness

What’s up with those scary underarm flaps? I grew a pair over the winter and something had to be done and fast. Time to add some strength training to my usual half hour rocking out on the Stairmaster. Here’s what I know about me. Left to my own devices, I won’t lift a weight. Enter Lisa Connelly, personal trainer, with an encouraging style and lovely personality. Funny, I don’t even have the urge to slap her when she insists I crank out two more reps. For a half hour, twice a week, she reimagines weight training with an assortment of stretchy bands and novel exercises that make the time fly. And those alarming underarm jiggles? Eight weeks later: gone. No kidding. Heartily recommend Lisa (or Sue Nelson who is building biceps on my friend, Colette).  Say you saw it on the-e-list and buy a series of 10 training sessions and get one session free (valid til 7/31/10).
