Shop / fashion / Swish

The mark of a good boutique is a strong point of view, and Kim, at Swish in Branford, definitely has one. While color abounds on the runway, Kim knows her customer and has stuck to a neutral and pleasing palette of navy, white and ecru popped with pretty floral prints for an easy transition to Spring. Her statement item this season? Maxi skirts! Chiffons, pleats, sexy slim versions and easy gored numbers, if it’s a maxi you’re after, you’ll find it here. Pair them with simple peasant blouses or new boxy and oversized tees and sashay into Spring in style. My other top picks? White jeans by Sanctuary, Beth Bowley’s printed modern shift dresses, classic Michael Stars and Velvet tees and embroidered hippy tunics by Johnny Was.
