Summer Music on the Shoreline, 2013


There’s outdoor live music every night of the week on the Shoreline! It was a gorgeous evening at Jonathan Edwards Winery for Ben Taylor withBrothers McCann. So fun, that I’ve put together a list of upcoming summer concerts, so I can save the dates.

Summer Nights at Harkness, a series of five summer concerts (including Judy Collins on 7/25, with amazing opening band, Hooray for the Riff Raff!)

Mystic Seaport Cocktail Cruises with live music aboard the steamboat Sabino (Will Evans on 7/17):

Chamard Vineyard, Clinton: Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, Farm Kitchen Menu available in the Barn. More info:

Saltwater Farm Vineyards, Stonington: Thursday Night Music Series from 5 – 7pm. More info:

Stonington Vineyards: Live music on the deck on Saturdays from 3 – 7pm.

Madison Green, concerts on Sundays at 6pm plus family outdoor movies and concerts at the Surf Club. Click here for the schedule.

Old Saybrook, Concerts on the Green, Wednesdays at 7pm.

Esker Point Beach Concert Series, Groton, Thursdays, 6 – 8pm.

Watch Hill, Summer Concert Series on the Village Green, Tuesdays at 6pm.

Branford Jazz on the Green, Thursdays at 6:30pm

Old Lyme Library Lawn Concerts at Phoebe Griffin Noyes Library, 6:30pm:  July 16th, Sweet Beats, Eleanor Robinson and Friends and August 7th, The Meadows Brothers. More info:

Deep River Parks & Rec presents concerts every Thursday at 6:30 at different locations in Deep River with dinners from local restaurants available to purchase. Click here to see the schedule. 

Celebrate East Lyme Festival, featuring live music, food, and more on 7/20.

Music on the River, Goodspeed Opera House Green, Monday nights.

Madison Beach Hotel: Grassy Strip Music on Thursday evenings and outdoor family friendly films on Tuesday nights.

Fresh Salt at Saybrook Point Inn: Live music Monday through Thursday. Click for schedule.

Water’s Edge, Westbrook: Live music Wednesday through Sunday. Click for schedule. 

Hygienic Art Park, New London. See the lineup here:   Hooray for the Riff Raff, a great Americana folk band from New Orleans plays here on 8/3, if you missed them at Harkness.

The 40-piece Old Lyme Town Band will performs at the following venues:  Sunday, 7/21, 4pm: Old Lyme South Green, Tuesday, 7/23, 7pm: Mystic River Park, Cottrell St., Saturay, 7/27, 7pm. Lyme St, behind Center School preceding Fireworks, Thursday, 8/1, 7pm: Lymes’ Senior Center, Town Woods Road.
